I really enjoyed the video Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed!
Love the trigger set up in the Channel.💯👍
Do they let you have access to the cutlines of the past exploration, or are they restricting it like for game hunters ?
We have access to them, and hunters do as well where I am.
Good Idea on the edger.
Hey hunter brother I have very pursue for hunting
Enjoyed your video buddy. I thought for sure you would've had a beaver in that channel set. Nice going with the two you did pick up👍🏻
I learned more about beaver even this time.. Ludwig
I used to trap In my 20s 45 years ago decided to get back at it try to catch some critters mostly wolves just took the online test field test in august need to help the elk and moose out in the Rockies
Enjoyed the video
That was awesome buddy! Glad you connected on two of them! Thank you for sharing and Good luck with everything my friend!
👍 right on nice catch and i never thought of putting the wood pliter ar that angle seams to work pretty good 👍
Thanks! Sure makes it easier on the back!
Rite on see ya next time
What do you prefer your Yamaha or your Honda atv in the market for one and I narrowed it down to those two thanks
To me it all depends on what you're using it for, Honda will never let you down, but I can say the same with Yamaha, I tow lots and that is where the Yamaha shines, their clutch system is the best in my opinion, you can't beat an automatic for hauling especially in in hilly terrain, no shifting and loss of momentum. I've owned Yamahas since 2005, 3 Grizzlies and 2 Kodiak's and have never changed a belt to this day. I would say if you just want a reliable machine that will never leave you down, just follow your gut feeling, either would be a great choice. If you have challenging terrain and plan on towing lots, I'd say Yamaha Kodiak 700 or the Grizzly. Just my thoughts, hope this helps with you're decision.
What's the revolver?
It's a Ruger GP 100 357 Magnum.
Awesome video as always, really enjoy your channel.what caliber is your hand gun.
This one is a 357 Mag. Thanks for watching!
Beauty vid as always! Love seeing the .357 strapped.
Another great video as always, Tks for taking us along with you
I thought you can have pistols in Canada ?
I have a permit to carry for wildlife protection.
Good afternoon ❤very interesting video. Thanks 🎉 I really liked the video. watch with the whole family. We look forward to every release. don't disappear for long
Good video Brother! I always enjoy your videos. Did you have much trouble getting the permit to carry the sidearm? I thought about trying to get a permit to carry mine but figured it might be to much hassle. Take care.
Getting the permit wasn't too bad, the first time you apply you can only get it for one year, but after that you can get the 2 year permit, some piece of mind to have it on your side with the amount of Grizz we have around.
That’s Awesome you’re allowed to carry a Handgun! Thought it was illegal in Canada- Great Video
In Canada only a few professions, trappers and mineral prospectors are a couple, are allowed to get an ATC (Authorization to Carry).
Good job guy 👍
Nice video! Thanks for sharing!
I like the vertical wood splitting. I wear knee pads and just roll the rounds in. Thank you for your video.
I’ve hunted and fished all my life and trapped a little, but watching you for the last year or so I’ve now got the bug! My buddy and I are learning the ropes mostly for predator control…we’re starting to catch a few critters…lots of fun and challenging! Keep up the great videos! 😊
Right on!
Great adventure thanks for taking us along !
That’s a great idea for the strap on the Wallenstein! Going to try that on mine. I have the WX540 with the Honda, looks like that’s the same model you have too, just with the newer engine?
Way to go on them beavers.. Love the hack on that splitter!!! I’m absolutely trying that!!!
Sure made a difference on an angle like that, pretty handy. Thanks Scott!
Those Wallenstein wood splitters are made right around the corner from me here in Ontario by the Mennonites. I typically will take my knife or axe and expose a bit of that nice white inner wood on the bait sticks for a visual attractant as well. Always enjoy your videos. Thanks for taking the time to bring us along on your adventures.
Thanks Scott!
Thanks for taking us along. Great video as always.
Thanks Jason!
BTW great video thank you for sharing
Say foot holds instead of leg holds the anti trappers hear that and they make more trouble for us trappers
Keep it up 👊👊👊
Thanks for sharing 👍. Nice leather pouch 👍
Glad to see you back with a vid.
Which model Stihl bruch cutter is that? Looking at getting one. Any regrets with it?
I have the 460, been a very good saw, only issue I had was that it got sluggish, ended up only being the spark arrestor that need to be cleaned out. Hope this helps, Thanks!
@@whatido3021 thank you sir. Exactly what I was looking to know.
Do you get to keep the cougar after you show it to fish and wildlife?
No they keep them since they are not a fur bearing animal.
Very good my friend!! I can't wait to watch more! Good luck with everything!
Thanks Mark!
Right on she is starting to melt 😢 walking around is going to get harder. Il like your saw i never seen that one i have the little chain saw i have a bunch of Dewalt tool i love that little saw when you let go the trigger there is no more noise and i find it safer for cutting little stuff it doesn't kick back and i can still cut with one hand when i have 2. 👍
Thanks Rackman! That saw is sure is a handy tool!
great videos. thanks for taking the time to show how you make the sets. it really helps new trappers like me. look forward to catching up on your channel
Thanks and glad you enjoyed the video!
how does the battery hold up in cold weather?
I'll be honest, I've always took the battery off and kept in a warm compartment and install it when needed. Thanks Jim!
well done 👍
Thanks GK!
Enjoyed the video. I’m new to trapping and I’m learning a lot. Thanks
Glad it could help, thanks for watching Dennis!
Really enjoy ya taking us along. Great channel. You ever tap trees for syrup?
Thanks Bill! Glad you enjoyed, I've never did around here since we don't have any maple, I thought about doing some Birch syrup but just never got to it. All we have here is Aspen and Birch, no other hardwoods at all.
congrats on your catches!!
Thanks Tim!
Kind of a cool little saw. Hope i can get some sets out towards the weekend. Still a little to much ice here yet, but it is going. Thx for the video, brother! Best wishes to you.
Same here, lots of ice, good luck out there my friend!
Deeply appreciate your videos, brings back my youthful memories!
Thanks Randy! Glad you enjoyed!
What are the laws in Canada on dispatching? Can you cary a sidearm ?
Pain in a butt, but you can get sidearm permits and I have them, one for dispatch (22 Lr only) and one for wildlife protection (357 cal or larger). I tend to cary my 357 Mag. for the most part, lots of Grizz around.
